How is living in Germany different to living in the USA?

Biggest difference (come to think of it, it applies to a lot of Europe
as well) is the relationship to sex and the relationship to violence.

Compared to the US, Germany is very relaxed about sex. Sex happens. A
lot of people want it to happen. It's natural, Also, typically, nobody
gets hurt. So Germans have little to no problems with things like
public nudity (not in all places, but there ARE places), mixed sauna
where everybody is nude, and so on.

Compare that to the the US…

On the other hand, the US seems, from a distance not to have too many
problems with depicting violence. For us germans, that's a no-no.

We just don't get why US-Americans will block a picture of boobs
(never hurt anybody), but will allow a picture of a guy with a
swastika, holding an automatic rifle, punching a child.
