¿Quién fue Zé do Caroço?
Una de las músicas más cantadas de Leci Brandão es, sin lugar a dudas, Zé do Caroço. Pero puedo asegurar que no todos prestan atención a la letra y a su contenido. Es más, he escuchado, incontable cantidad de veces referirse a esta música como: "Porta bandeira" debido a la similitud sonora con Pau da Bandeira.
Analicemos un poco la letra:

Según nos cuenta Leci: "Zé do Caroço es una historia real. Ya murió. Pero él era un líder de un altavoz en el Morro de Pau da Bandeira. Él conectaba el sonido (altavoz) a las ocho de la noche. En esa época, estaba la novela de las ocho y había una persona que vivía en un condominio cerca del morro y decía que el sonido le impedía asistir la novela".

El escritor consideró que “muchos de los que hoy tienen poder de decisión son los jóvenes de los 60”, y que las drogas son parte de su historia
Ferreira Gullar, conocido intelectual brasilero, criticó con dureza el funcionamiento de la ley de la marihuana en su columna de laFolha de Sao Paulo, publicada ayer domingo.
“En breve, Uruguay se convertirá en el mayor productor mundial de marihuana, para la felicidad y enriquecimiento de los traficantes. Espero, sinceramente, estar equivocado”, concluye el ensayista y poeta brasilero su opinión sobre la droga y el rol que esta ha tomado en el mundo en los últimos años.
Luego de ejemplificar con lo que sucedió en Estados Unidos, en donde se legalizó porque se entiende que “es inofensiva y hasta medicinal” dijo: “Hay muchos calmantes que se venden en las farmacias y no son alucinógenos como la marihuana. ¿Debemos concluir que por ser alucinógena es que es legalizada? Tengo una posible explicación para eso: muchas de las personas que hoy tienen poder de decisión son los jóvenes de aquella época que hoy tienen 50 o 60 años. Las drogas son parte de su historia por más de que no consuman. Tampoco las condenan para que no se piense que se convirtieron en personas iguales a los viejos tarados de aquella época”.

“Ese puede no ser el caso de José Mujica, presidente de Uruguay, que no solo propuso la legalización de la marihuana sino también controlar toda la producción, la venta y el consumo de la droga en su país. Creará una especie de ‘Maconhabras’ (como referencia las empresas estatales, como Petrobras y otras tantas).
En el caso de Mujica, las intenciones son las mejores posibles, pues él cree que, asumiendo el control total de la droga, anulará la acción de los traficantes. Su proyecto prevé que cada consumidor tenga derecho a fumar 40 cigarros de marihuana por mes (sic, son 40 gramos), desde el momento que se inscribe oficialmente como marihuanero.
Cómo llegó él a este número, no lo sé, pero puede suceder que el marihuanero no quede satisfecho con esa cantidad. Nada impide que una legión de falsos consumidores se inscriba para tener derecho a esos 40 cigarros (sic), que se tornarán en millones, en el total millones, obligando así al gobierno a aumentar incesantemente la producción”, escribió.
Entre otras cosas, en la columna, que titula “De los males, el menor”, el escritor brasilero indica que le cuesta entender la fama de la marihuana. Pero explica que si bien es imposible ignorar el efecto altamente destructivo de las drogas, “oponerse a ellas es ‘careta de viejo’, ya que entre otras cosas, las drogas se convirtieron en señal de juventud. ¿No fueron los jóvenes los que las introdujeron a la sociedad contemporánea? ¿Y no fueron los viejos idiotas los que las condenaron? Oponerse a las drogas hoy pega mal, tolerarlas, pega bien”.
Ferreira Gullar es el nombre artístico de José Ribamar Ferreira que nació en 1930 en Maranhao. El “Poema sujo (Poema sucio)”, su obra más conocida, fue escrita en Argentina, donde estaba exiliado. Fue militante del Partido Comunista Brasileño, por esto permaneció fuera del Brasil desde 1964 hasta 1985.
En 2002 ganó el premio Príncipe Claus, en 2007 el premio Jabuti en la categoría libro de ficción y en 2010 el premio Camões, el más importante de la literatura en portugués.

Create a document
You can create a new document by clicking the button in the navigation bar. It will switch from the current document to the new one.
Switch to another document
You can list all your local documents and switch from one to another by clicking the button in the navigation bar.
Rename a document
You can rename the current document by clicking the document title in the navigation bar.
Delete a document
You can delete the current document by clicking the button in the navigation bar.
Save a document
You can save the current document to a file using the Save as... sub-menu from the menu.
NOTE: See Publish a document section for a description of the different outputs.
Synchronization
StackEdit can be combined with Google Drive and Dropbox to have your documents centralized in the Cloud. The synchronization mechanism will take care of uploading your modifications or downloading the latest version of your documents.
NOTE:
- Full access to Google Drive or Dropbox is required to be able to import any document in StackEdit.
- Imported documents are downloaded in your browser and are not transmitted to a server.
- If you experience problems exporting documents to Google Drive, check and optionally disable browser extensions, such as Disconnect.
Import a document
You can import a document from the Cloud by going to the Google Drive or the Dropbox sub-menu and by clicking Import from.... Once imported, your document will be automatically synchronized with the Google Drive / Dropbox file.
Export a document
You can export any document by going to the Google Drive or the Dropbox sub-menu and by clicking Export to.... Even if your document is already synchronized with Google Drive or Dropbox, you can export it to a another location. StackEdit can synchronize one document with multiple locations.
Synchronize a document
Once your document is linked to a Google Drive or a Dropbox file, StackEdit will periodically (every 3 minutes) synchronize it by downloading/uploading any modification. Any conflict will be detected, and a local copy of your document will be created as a backup if necessary.
If you just have modified your document and you want to force the synchronization, click the button in the navigation bar.
NOTE: The button is disabled when you have no document to synchronize.
Manage document synchronization
Since one document can be synchronized with multiple locations, you can list and manage synchronized locations by clicking Manage synchronization in the menu. This will open a dialog box allowing you to add or remove synchronization links that are associated to your document.

Publication
Once you are happy with your document, you can publish it on different websites directly from StackEdit. As for now, StackEdit can publish on Blogger, Dropbox, Gist, GitHub, Google Drive, Tumblr, WordPress and on any SSH server.
Publish a document
You can publish your document by going to the Publish on sub-menu and by choosing a website. In the dialog box, you can choose the publication format:
- Markdown, to publish the Markdown text on a website that can interpret it (GitHub for instance),
- HTML, to publish the document converted into HTML (on a blog for instance),
- Template, to have a full control of the output.
NOTE: The default template is a simple webpage wrapping your document in HTML format. You can customize it in the
Servicestab of theSettingsdialog.
Update a publication
After publishing, StackEdit will keep your document linked to that publish location so that you can update it easily. Once you have modified your document and you want to update your publication, click on the button in the navigation bar.
NOTE: The button is disabled when the document has not been published yet.
Manage document publication
Since one document can be published on multiple locations, you can list and manage publish locations by clicking Manage publication in the menu. This will open a dialog box allowing you to remove publication links that are associated to your document.
NOTE: In some cases, if the file from has been removed from the website or the blog, the document will no longer be published on that location.
Markdown Extra
StackEdit supports Markdown Extra, which extends Markdown syntax with some nice features.
NOTE: You can disable any Markdown Extra feature in the
Extensionstab of theSettingsdialog.

Markdown Extra has a special syntax for tables:

Welcome to StackEdit!
Hello, I am your first Markdown document within StackEdit1. Don’t delete me, I can be helpful. I can be recovered anyway in the Utils tab of the Settings dialog.
Documents
StackEdit stores your documents in your browser local storage, which means all your documents are automatically saved locally and are accessible offline!
NOTE:
- StackEdit is accessible offline once the HTML5 application cache has been fully loaded.
- Your local documents are not shared between different browsers or computers.
- Clearing your browser’s data may delete all your local documents!
Create a document
You can create a new document by clicking the button in the navigation bar. It will switch from the current document to the new one.
Switch to another document
You can list all your local documents and switch from one to another by clicking the button in the navigation bar.
Rename a document
You can rename the current document by clicking the document title in the navigation bar.
Delete a document
You can delete the current document by clicking the button in the navigation bar.
Save a document
You can save the current document to a file using the Save as... sub-menu from the menu.
NOTE: See Publish a document section for a description of the different outputs.
Synchronization
StackEdit can be combined with Google Drive and Dropbox to have your documents centralized in the Cloud. The synchronization mechanism will take care of uploading your modifications or downloading the latest version of your documents.
NOTE:
- Full access to Google Drive or Dropbox is required to be able to import any document in StackEdit.
- Imported documents are downloaded in your browser and are not transmitted to a server.
- If you experience problems exporting documents to Google Drive, check and optionally disable browser extensions, such as Disconnect.
Import a document
You can import a document from the Cloud by going to the Google Drive or the Dropbox sub-menu and by clicking Import from.... Once imported, your document will be automatically synchronized with the Google Drive / Dropbox file.
Export a document
You can export any document by going to the Google Drive or the Dropbox sub-menu and by clicking Export to.... Even if your document is already synchronized with Google Drive or Dropbox, you can export it to a another location. StackEdit can synchronize one document with multiple locations.
Synchronize a document
Once your document is linked to a Google Drive or a Dropbox file, StackEdit will periodically (every 3 minutes) synchronize it by downloading/uploading any modification. Any conflict will be detected, and a local copy of your document will be created as a backup if necessary.
If you just have modified your document and you want to force the synchronization, click the button in the navigation bar.
NOTE: The button is disabled when you have no document to synchronize.
